Originally printed in 1983 by the Mormon Historical Society of Alaska, now updated and revised with current information, reprinted July 2000.

The book was a Sesquicentennial Project written to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in April 1981.

It originally covered the period of time from 1899 through April 1981, now revised and updated through the end of the 20th Century. The book is a general history of the Church in Alaska with much of the information submitted by members who lived or had lived in Alaska. The revised edition includes information on the Anchorage Temple and Mission Presidents since 1981, and growth of the Church.

Over 300 pages, hardback, lots of black & white and color photos.
