Epistolas del Presidente Lozano 07 Jan 2007
One of the many things I loved about President Lozano was the his monthly letter to the missionaries. These were one of the "recuerdos" that I brought home from my mission--treasures for me to remember a wonderful and inspirinig leader.

At a mission reunion in the spring of 1990 in Salt Lake City, President Lozano spoke about the "Epistolas del Presidente" that had been prepared for the monthly buletin, "El Austral". He encouraged us to continue to study and read these letters from the president. Shortly after this reunion he had all of the epistles typed on word processor and over a period of months revised, edited, and added scriptures to the epistles. The first revision was 200 pages and the final version was over 300. He left me with a copy of this amazing work later in 1990.

At one of our reunions the opportunity was presented to get a copy of this work but I fear that few actually possess it today. I am sure that there are many who feel the same as I do about these letters and in particular those who live in Sud America may be interested to use these letters as resources. Sorry I have not written this message in Spanish as my language abilities have deteriorated. Feel free to translate and resend if anyone feels like helping the Spanish speakers get this news. Maybe I will try my hand when I have some time.

I am writing this message to make sure that everyone knows this work exists and to offer to send a photocopy of it to anyone who would like it. Please send a letter to my home or send me an e-mail over this system with your mailing address and I will quickly send a copy to you. Once you receive it you can send me a couple of dollars if you want to help cover copying and shipping. I am happy to send this to those who live in Argentina, Chile , Paraguay or wherever you may live. Please mail a request to

I know it would mean so much to Presidente Lozano for all of you you to have a copy of this book. He felt very strongly about the messages that were contained in them.

Un Abrozo para todos!
