Dear Missionaries,
President Abad passed away this morning around 7:00 a.m. All of his
children were able to be there with he and Sister Abad in the
hospital.
The Coronel's (Pte.'s sister and brother-in-law in Salt Lake) asked
that all of us remember his family in our prayers this Sunday.
We will all miss this great and wonderful man. He was such a loving
mission president. What a blessing to have known him. We were
shocked when we initially found out that he was sick at such a young
age. As his health declined and the pain became severe, his passing
became a blessing so that he didn't have to suffer any more.
I know Sister Abad will need encouragement from time to time through
emails and letters.
