The Culture of Buenos Aires
The Obelisco, site of the first Argentine flag raising in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Argentina was colonized primarily by the Spanish and Italian people. After World War II there was a large influx of German immigrants. There are also small populations of British immigrants. Because of this, Buenos Aires is more European than other cities in Latin America. But at the same time, Buenos Aires maintains the distinct Argentine culture.

As a missionary, you will grow to love Buenos Aires and its people. By following the links below you can learn more about the unique culture of the City of Buenos Aires and the surrounding area.
