Service has always meant a lot to me. I guess that's why I made it my job. I currently work as a Police Officer, and what can I say? I love my job. No, I don't give out a bunch of tickets, I mostly give warnings; and no we don't have a quota to fill weekly on how many tickets we're supposed to give out. It's all a myth!
It does get rather hot down here in Arizona (or up here if you are reading this from another location more south than Arizona) and wearing the dark unifrom with that bullet-proof vest doesn't exactly help all that much.
I'm married now. FINALLY! Hehehe..... it was getting difficult to find a girl who wouldn't find out about my job and then run away scared. What's wrong with being a COP?? We're both going to ASU (Arizona State University) and I work with the Police Department there. No kids yet, but I'm sure we may have some on the way in time.
