Studying Zoology (Major), Chemistry (Minor), and Spanish (Minor) at Weber State Univeristy. I will graduate in the Spring of 2006. I will be applying for Professional School after graduation.
Employment:
I work at McKay Dee Hospital as a Cardiographic Technician.
Volunteer:
I volunteer with the Utah Chapter of Operation Smile. Operation Smile is a not-for-profit health services organization that provides surgical services to help indigent children with congenital facial deformities. I will be traveling to Amman, Jordan this fall with the surgical team for two weeks. I also serve as the Vice President over the Utah Student Chapter. Operation Smile has changed my life and has taught me a great principle expressed by Margaret Mead: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has." |
