I only served in the ATM a short 4 months when I was transferred from the Scotland Edinburgh Mission due to health (Arthritis) concerns in the spring of 1981. The 4 months served in the Safford-Thatcher area were some of the best, bringing many souls to the Lord through the waters of baptism.
Presently, I have a lovely wife of 20 years. Six wonderful children (3 boys and 3 girls). I have served in many Stake and Ward callings, including my current calling of Bishop (+5 years).
Not only is the church true, Jesus is the Christ, and we have living oracles to lead us in these latter-days; but the best thing that we can do at any time is to bless and benefit the lives of those around us. Continually ask daily, What can I do, today, that will benefit the life of everyone that I come in contact?
This is why a mission is (was) so great! We are free to continually strive to bless the life of everyone we meet, no matter the circumstances or situation. May the Lord bless each and everyone as we strive to return to God.
