Steven Lynn Bates, 51, Manito Ward, Spokane Washington Stake; Young Men president; former stake president and counselor, high councilor, bishop, branch president, and missionary in the Western Canadian Mission; dentist; received bachelor's degree in zoology from Washington State University and doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Washington; born in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, to Charles Ray and Erma Irene Bird Bates; married Julia Ann Anglesey, seven children.
She is a counselor in the Relief Society presidency; former counselor in stake Primary presidency, stake family history specialist, counselor in Primary presidency, Relief Society and Primary teacher, Cub Scout and nursery leader; attended BYU; born in Rigby, Idaho, to Wendell Owen and Nada Elizabeth Packer Anglesey.
