Looking for old friends 12 May 2005
Does anyone have any contact info for Larry & Geri Bowers, from Tucson and lived there in the early 90's They were always helping us out. I have lost the contact info I had for them.

I would love to hear from anyone who served in the President Mangum era.

Mabuhay From Elder Paugh 09 Jan 2004
Merry Christmas and Happy new year,
I hope you all are having a great time this holiday season.
Im in Manila, it is good to be back with my Asawa. Christmas here in the Philippines is full of spirit and parties. In the Phiolippines you stay up until midnight on Christmas Eve and begin the celebration of Christmas and people wish are still wishing me a Merry Christmas today. We even use firework on Christmas here.
This Sunday was really an Awsome one. Polly and I went to Church (THE ONLY TRUE AND LIVING ONE) and we saw on the Stand with the Bishop, her mission President Elder Garrett who is now serving as 2nd councelor to Elder Dalin H. Oaks in the area athority. And we looked around for his wife Sister Garrett, we saw her sitting with Sister Oaks and then looked back at the Stand and realized Elder Oaks was sitting there also. I guess we were excited enough to see Elder Garrett. After Sacrement metting we talked to Sister Oaks and she was happy to see us together. While I was gone in california Polly cryied on Sister Oaks shoulder in the Temple. Sister Oaks wanted us to realize that we are an Eternal couple, She is one of the sweetest Sisters Ive ever met.
We were blessed to have the two couples in our Gospel class. The Oaks, and The Garrettes. Elder Oaks Bore Testimony and taught us that we are all witnesses of Christ by the Holy Ghost as well as the Prophets, although an Apostle is a witness to all the world of the Name of Jesus Christ, In which all power and authority is given. And it is by His Name that all covenants are made.
Aftter Church President and Sister Oaks were talking to Polly, they seem to really like Polly, And she said it was too bad she didn't bring her camera. I told her I have my camera in my backpack. So we got a picture with them. Polly was so happy she danced home. I was really happy too of course.
Polly took me to the American Cemetary and we walked around amazed at all the lives lost in the war. She took me to the place where President Hinkley dedicated missionary work in the Philippines before he was called as Prophet. And she showed me where on her Mission Elder Holland talked to all the Manila Missionaries.
We visited the Temple and walked around under the Christmas lights. Polly sang all here favorite Hymns. Im a very happy, lucky man to have her as my Eternal Companion.
Im looking forward to the new year, Many wonderful thing have happened for me this year, and I want to thank all of you and Our Savoir Jesus the Christ who makes this all possible
W/ Love
Ron, Elder Paugh
