News Item: Georgia opportunity to teach English
Displaying 1 - 1 of 1 -- Add News
I have recently been informed that Georgia has decided to hire 1,000 foreign teachers to teach English in its public schools. It would be great for Georgia if some of the teachers that go there were LDS. The program sends teachers to teach in a public school, gives them free room and board in a homestay family and a small stipend for 6-9 months, plus free airfare to and from Georgia. At least two organizations recruit for this program.

Teach and learn with Georgia It is for footprints recruiting agency, they are helping to recruit teachers to go to Georgia.

click on their website and they can find information to teach in Georgia.
Please pass this along to anyone interested. I'm not sure, but I assume that previous experience teaching English would be helpful, as would be a working knowledge of either Russian or Georgian.
