Pres. Marshall passed away last month while biking in Utah.
Thanks to Murray Doggett for the following:
"I served in Adelaide for 17 months in 1971-1973 with Richard J. Marshall as the Mission President. Before he was a Mission President he helped the Church set up the display for the 1964 New York Worlds Fair. He also commisioned a number of paintings for the church by several artists. Two of the paintings he worked on were by the artist Tom Lovell. One was of Mormon and one was of Moroni. The artist used President Marshall as the model for both Paintings. So when you see these paintings of Mormon and Moroni you also see President Marshall."
