I married Gayle (Bradshaw) of Mesa Arizona in the Arizona Temple in 1976. We moved from Arizona to Silicon Valley in 1997 where I launched and managed four venture-backed technology companies. For the past five years, I commuted to Washington D.C. to serve as the executive director for the Software industry Association.
We have five children (all adults, active in the church, and living in the Bay Area.) They have given us two rambunctious grandsons and two beautiful granddaughters--two more are on the way. I have been able to serve in two bishoprics and spent eight years on the high council. Currently I am serving in my favorite calling--gospel doctrine teacher.
I hold a BA and an MA in economics from California State University (SJSU). In 2012 we left the bay area for Fairfax Virginia to work on my PhD in economics at George Mason University. In addition to my studies, I teach at the university as part-time faculty. My wife is also a full-time student and will graduate with me in May of 2015. |
