Hey, how bout none of my companions are in the list!!! Has anyone been in touch with Sisters: Craig, Beach, Mickelsen, Meister, Lloyd, Thomson???
I think that for 3 of the last 8 years I have been a bit angry about the lack of change in my marital status! Being single in the church (and active) can be very, very difficult. I'm over that now (thank goodness) because i'm re-learning how good my life really is; God is fulfilling promises, just in a different order to how i expected.
I'm currently serving as CTR teacher - it rocks!!! There is something beautiful about the faith of 6 year olds - they believe the things i teach them (and that helps me to remember that i believe it too).
I work and study in child health promotion research, with a special interest in Aboriginal health - it is challenging and rewarding. i love my work/study (except for assignments and exams). I'm really looking forward to finishing my studies at the end of 2009.
I have a four year old dog, Yamitji - she's my sunshine.
Hoping to have a reunion tour of Queensland with Lara Qualtrough, Junior Lealofi and Ryan Harris (Oct MTC 1997) in 2008. |
