G'day everyone!! how are you all going? i hope you had a joyous Christmas and a great new year. well im just typing up a letter to let everyone know that im doing great! ive been home now for a year and a half now and still think back to the great days of serving in the greatest mission and what a special and sacred experience it was for me.
Ive been living in Brisbane now since ive got back and love it here. I have a great ward, its amazing. i attend the YSA ward ( River Terrace ) and i love our ward family heaps, theres so many great friends, awesome examples and a great spirit with a great Bishopric.
im serving as the Ward Mission Leader as well and its such a big calling but i love the challange of making it mine.
love life....yep, its actually going good. ive progressed a keen contact from my finding pool into the teaching pool, shes been keeping her committments well and also weve been keeping up the daily contact....kidding,
but yeh im dating a lovely lady and a great friend, her name is Katey and she blows me away, shes amazing. she served her mission in Melbourne West ( dark side ) and now is serving as the Relief Society Pres. in the ward, so everything is going awesome with that
we just had convention up here and that was such a blessing, i grew so much from the experience. i saw glimpses of my potential, something that i havent really seen since my mish, and worked out a great plan that will make 2004 the best.
it was also such a cool experience to catch up with the RM's of our mish. Grinch', sista's Allen and wolfgramm, elkington, sua, williams, cool, ulie ( i can never spell his name right ) joel hamilton, toro and tutaia. we got a mission picture jsut after new years came in. it was something special just being together again, even though it was for a couple of minutes.
cricket is doing great, yeh i just had to put it in. ever since i got back the Lord has blessed me in abundance with my game. i captain and coach the River Terrace Rangers where we play the surrounding wards, and i play for rochedale South where Im the leading batsman.
ive also taken up piano lessons too. one thing i wish i couldve learnt before my mission was how to play the piano. i love it so much and i love playing hymns, my piano teacher also happens to be my g/f katey hehe....long story.
um what else, family is going great, my sisters beat me to marriage and are now living happily, oh well. hmmm....nothing too much
im working as an assistant in a market research firm, thats been a lot of fun, got to learn more about the industry and so im just saving up while i go back to school this year.
i hope youre all doing great, doing those small and important things. i know the chruch is true, i love this gospel with all my heart. i will always be greatful for my Savior and his atonement, i will always treasure the time we shared together on my mission. i love my Father in Heaven so much and im so indebted to him
hope you all have a great 2004! let me know how youre all doing, i would love to hear from you and keep in contact more often
love yas!!

I was shocked to hear of Todd Staheli's passing away and would just like to extend my most sincere condolences to the family and his closest friends. I didn't know him very well, but I remember him well and fondly.
My thoughts are with those he leaves behind.
God bless.

Hello,
I was wondering if anybody knew how to contact Elder DuBravac? He would have served around 1988.
Thanks,
Brett Van Fleet

I know the Sanders and they live in Salt Lake City. I met them just a few months ago at a Pioneer Day BBQ. They are the grandparents of my friend Jeremy.

I have lost touch with my friend David Green. I saw him baptized in March of 2001. At that time he was in the Lysterfield Ward. If anyone knows his whereabouts please let me know.
Thanks,

G'day Alumni of the greatest mission in the world!! No doubt a lot of you have heard about the upcoming reunion in utah in October. Unfortunately for us Aussies thats some distance to travel.
Were proposing to hold a reunion here in Brisbane for all AMM RM's on a weekend in November. Theyre wil be activities, photos, a fireside Zone Conference Style, work shops, testimony meeting, we'll try and get Pres Fox of the Brisbane Mission to talk to us, food, a temple night, more food and of course a game of touch footy.
So far weve got quite a few people interested in attending and if any RM's from NSW who would love to come up, it would be a privilige to have you come along. email me if youre interested
love ya's all
