News Item: FYI - Name Change

Hello Everyone!
This is random, but to avoid any confusion anytime down the road...last year I went through the process of changing my last name from 'Dickey' to 'Patterson.' Most of you don't know this, but my 'bloodline' name is really 'Patterson.' A few generations back there was a divorce between the Patterson's and a remarriage. The children took on the name of the stepfather, who's last name was Dickey, which normally doesn't happen. Needless to say, some family members have thought about changing our name back to the original for geneological purposes, and some have gone ahead and done it. I've made it a matter of serious reflection and feel really good about the change. Legally, I'll be Shawn Patterson, but you can call me whatever you're most comfortable with, especially since you all know me as Elder Dickey. In fact, Shawn "The missionary formerly known as Elder Dickey" Patterson works just fine :)
