Talofa all. Well it will be 20 years this year since I was sent to teach the gentiles of Oz. What a wonderful time it turned out to be. Sure, along with the obligatory abuse I met some good people both members and non - members alike.
And I was fortuante enough to serve with some incredible Elders. From Ihimaera in the MTC (Hamilton,NZ) to Elder Lamreaux in Canberra.
I married in 1990 in the NZ Temple to my Rarotogan bride and currently have 4 children, 1 girl and 3 boys, Mercedes 13, Paxton 8(yeah Paxton), Raade (pronounced "raid") 5 and Freedom 3.
At the moment I'm at school trying to finish my BA. Took off this semester and looking forward to ending this degree next semester. Whew!
I hope all these guys are well, some I served with and others that I made friends with, Elders Pedro (Cali), Lelo(NZ), Harvey(NZ), Molyneaux(UK), M. Jones(Ariz), Fairchild(Washington State), Lay(Orem), Thomas (W.Aust.), Jensen(SLC), Avei (SLC), Tonks (Idh), Bell (SLC), Schlieth (Germany), Cowan (Cali), Tait (Alpine), Seward (Okla), Turner (Idh) and all the other Elders and Sisters that I have not mentioned that were in the field serving the Lord at that time.
I have held many callings in the church and just last year finished my four year stint as the Ward seminary teacher. ( The best calling nobody wants)
I released a hip hop track in the early to mid 90s here in NZ and there was talk of an album release also. However, my DJ got his mission call and that was that. Lord first - everything else later, including hip hop.
My family and I will be holidaying in Sydney at the end of 2005 and I hope to visit some of my old stomping grounds. I'll have to show them the chapel in Leura if its still there.
