Sign from Heaven 01 Feb 2002
I was G.Qing in Bondi one sunny day when a young Philipino man went walking past. I said, "hello, how ya going?" And with a smile he said, "not very good." I asked him why he wasn't very good and he did a bit of explaining. "sounds to me like you need to hear what I have to say," I said. I told him that what I had to tell him would make him happy. I was always cautious to be bold and never overbearing but this time, I think I was sitting right on the line between the two. We took a seat in the mall and I started to give him a quick first discussion, he seemed distracted and not very attentive throughout it. But I KNEW he had to hear this. He was almost determined on leaving before the Book of Mormon principle and just at that moment when I thought he would leave and I would never see him again, one of those pigeons we despise so much in the juction sent a message to this man, right in the middle of his head. We laughed but I would'nt let him go. He pulled some tissues out of his bag and I pointed out from a safe missionary distance where to wipe. He stayed, he took the Book of Mormon in Tagalog and a few weeks later he was baptised.

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
-Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
