| Summer Hill.
When I, Sister Hermence, and Sister White were at church one Sunday and Raymond, a member of the Church, who we were trying to reactivate got up during fast and testimony meeting whilst President Talbot and Sister Talbot were visiting and all of us missionaries had other investigators. He got up to go in front of the congregation and shared how he recieved relevation. He was going on about the perl and rubbish. We all died and couldn't believe the bishop didn't say a word to him. We all sunk in our seats and White and I were hoping he wasn't gonna say we were visiting him and that he shared this revelation that he recieved about new doctrines and how he was gonna start a harum with us and some garbage. Boy, we looked over and President Talbot looked so mad that he was up there going on and no one stopped him.
Our investigators were asking what he was on about whilst some elders couldn't stop laughing. Mate, what a day. On top of this, I am sure it was the same week. He approches Elder Egan and tells him we were making bodily contact towards him and that we wanted him. Course Egan laughed it off. Whilst we were worried. Then he stalked us and luckily Elder Pitt was inspired to come out during the classes at church and was in time to stop him from chasing after us when we went to get an investigator. Lucky for the pomptings of the spirit. Who knows what may have happened . It scared the heck outta us. |
