Does anyone know anything about a member who used to live in Dunkerque? His name is Genno, I can't remember his last name, and at one time he was the branch mission leader for the Calais Branch, before it became a ward. If this rings a bell with anyone, and you know something, please let me know, I was curious what he is up to now. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies that I've received. Brother Denis sent me this link to his own website which has all the meeting schedules, and I now see that there's a link to his website on this site under "links" -- his website is Le Berger Goel. If you look about halfway down the left bar you'll see a link for "chapelles - adresses." I thought I'd point this out for anyone needing this information in future.

I'll be visiting Belgium with my family next month. We want to attend church in Namur, Liege, and possibly Charleroi (some of the areas where I served as a missionary 10+ years ago.) At the Church website I was able to find the addresses for the church buildings in these cities, but no meeting times are listed. Any recently returned missionaries or others in the know, please help us out so we can know what time to show up for church. Thanks!

I have lost contact with Elder Bob Banta. I served with him in Cambrai, France during the spring of 1975 when we lived in part of a Château with Mme Henriette and her family as our landlady. I was expecting to hear a message concerning the recent passing of Sister Annette Sanderson who served a CES Mission around 200-2004 (as well as several other missions). I've known Annette since 1966 (before she became a member) when we met while working in Belgium. She was serving her fifth mission (at the age of 72) in Houston, Texas, when she became ill and passed away about 10 days later. I have a digital phone and the funeral announcement, etc. that I would be happy to e-mail to anyone interested. I believe one of her daughters is collecting stories about Annette for the family. If you have any, I'll pass them on.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Sister Josie Johnson, who died tragically in a bicycle accident yesterday. The funeral will be held on Friday, September 24, at 1:00pm at the Oakland 1st Ward chapel (next to the Oakland temple), in Oakland, California. Debbie and I will fly out to attend the funeral and invite any others to join us as we mourn the passing of this saint of a missionary who served in the Belgium Brussels/Netherlands mission from 2000-2002. There will be a viewing at Larken Gardens on Tuesday, Sep. 21st at 6:00 pm and memorial services following. Her funeral will be in Oakland California on Friday. you can get meeting time info from church head quarters. sometimes they don't know but they can give you the address and phone numbers for the bishopric. you can call the bishopric once in france for the meeting times.
