News Item: President Arrigona
Displaying 1 - 1 of 1 -- Add News
Many of you are now aware of the failing health of President Arrigona, and that he in all likelyhood will soon pass away. Though I never knew him, I am sure that all of us can appreciate and respect President Arrigona. We have all served under our various Mission Presidents, and no doubt we all understand what a vital and important role they play in the mission, and in each one of our lives.
I sent an email out yesterday to those of you who served with President Arrigona, but felt that it would be good for this information to be up for everyone. I have received the following emails, and am passing them on to you. The first is from the son of President Arrigona, and the second from his son-in-law. Please take a moment to read them. My condolences go out to all who are in mourning at this time.
Just a note to let you know that my father is in his final days. This is the result of a stroke he had a few years ago. He is looking forward to moving on and seems very comfortable with the idea. I know that he touched many of you and if any of you would have the time to send me any thoughts about your experiences with him, please feel free to do so. I am gathering as much information as possible to share at his funeral.
Thank you,
Jean-Michel Arrigona (jean.m@worldnet.att.net)
Hello, I am President Arrigona's son in law and the family has asked me to inform all his beloved elders and sisters of his health. We expect President Arrigona to pass away shortly and he wanted all of you to know of his love. We will place an obituary in the SLC newspapers and please pass along this news to any missionaries or friends that you may know.
Sister Arrigona has asked that if you have any questions to please email me (adischmann@studeo.com). They both send their love and prayers.
Andrew Dischmann
As a final note, to find out more information you can call at 801.580.4200 or e-mail at adischmann@studeo.com. The family would like BB missionaries to sing at his funeral service if they can attend. He lives in the Salt Lake area.
