Following is a note from his son, Jean-Michel:
James Arrigona passed away this morning (5/14/03) at 4:00am. My mother heard him breathing heavily at 3:30 am and went in to see him. She sat down, held his hand and 30 minutes later he was gone. He had a difficult last 6 months, but he died peacefully this morning in his home with his wife holding his hand. We will have a funeral service on Saturday 5/17/03 in Salt Lake City. There will be an obituary in the paper on Thursday and Friday.
