I now work for Broulim's in Rexburg, Rigby, and Driggs. For those that knew of my sister, she passed away in January of 2003 from leukemia. I did a pharmacy internship in Vitoria, Espirito Santo in Brazil at Sister Karina Abreu's house. While on this trip to Brazil I met Sister Melissa Stirling Soares's brother, John. We fell in love in the 5 days that I was at their house and then we got married in November 2004 in the Idaho Falls Temple. So, therefore, I married a Brazilian (even though his name doesn't look it). I swore I wouldn't even date one, so I just married one! Everyone thinks I met him on the mission but I actually met him over 4 years after. I've never been happier. We just bought a house in Rexburg. John goes to school at BYU-I and is very involved in caporeira, volleyball, and he's starting a samba/pagode band. I'm so glad the church is true. :) Please write if anyone cares!
Update: We had a little girl named Mary (for my younger sister) a year ago. She's the best and cutest thing ever. :) |

"Vocês são um grande exército de ex-missionários. Prossigam com novo zelo e determinação e, por meio de seu exemplo, façam brilhar a luz do evangelho neste mundo atribulado. Esse é o trabalho do Senhor no qual estamos engajados. Deus vive. Jesus é o Cristo. Pertencemos à Sua Igreja. Esse é o testemunho que presto a vocês em nome de Jesus Cristo. Amém."
