I have finally confirmed that all missionaries are required to use brief cases (pastas executivas) for prothselyting in the Brazil Maceio Mission. They no longer use mission bags (bolsas).
Like most other missions, missionaries are now required to wear their suits to sacrament & priesthood meetings.
For those of you who weren't on their missions a year ago, the Brazil Maceio mission was asked to no longer use the service of "Tias" to wash their clothes in the missionary apartments/houses. Also, member visits at missionary housing became prohibited. This, apparently, was not only for the Maceio mission, but for Brazil North. I have not been able to confirm if this is true for all Brazil missions.
