I was lucky enough to feel the love and beauty that is the Manaus. Years ago when my sister finished her mission there as a family we came to visit her. We found some of the most beautiful people and land. My memories of hiking through the Amazon, eating papaya, rice and drinking lots of Guarana always brings a smile to my face. However, the true hospitality and warmth we recieved from the members and the city as a whole help me to see the beauty in the rest of world. I carry with me that love and especially my sister's dear companion who guided us and will always be family. |
