Comments:
After returning home from my mission I married my childhood sweetheart, Karen. We have five wonderful children and one exceptional young man we adopted after his mission. We have lived in Canada, New York and Monterey/ Carmel. California has been our home for the majority of our married life.
My oldest son Tom (27) served in Norway and was married to Jessica Staley in the Oakland temple. They Have 1 child, Thorin, with one on the way. Tom is presently in school for business and working part time. Our daughter Kirsten (25) was married to Landon Selk in the Provo Temple. Landon served his mission in Austin Texas. They are both working hard in their careers and look forward to starting their family. Tyler (23) served a mission in the Ukraine ( Russian speaking) and is presently attending BYU for Structural Engineering. He is engaged to Amanda Meyers and they plan on a spring wedding. Kimberly (21) was married to Yance Hardy in Salt Lake Temple.
They just had their first child. Yance is currently deployed to Iraq with the National Guard. Our adopted son Steve served in Norway also. He was married to Elise in the Logan Temple. They have 1 child (Jude) and Steve is working on a Business degree. Trenton (19) our youngest is currently serving in Auckland New Zealand Mission, speaking Tongan. We had the great privilege of being with him in the MTC. In fact, he assisted the MTC President in setting us apart for our current mission in Salt Lake City. Sister Rehak and I reflect on what a wonderful journey has been so far. We hope to serve many more senior missions between visiting the grand children. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has is the center of our family. We all enjoy just being together and waterskiing, scuba diving or playing family football.
