McWilliams family 09 Dec 2003
The McWilliams family is awesome! Debbie was Relief Society President when I left the area in Feb. 2002. I don't remember what calling Bro. Mcwilliams had, but I think he was the ward clerk or something like that. Dinner at their house was always something to look forward to. :)

Mcwilliams info 04 Dec 2003
Brother Sandage,

I served in the Visalia ward around Octoberish of 2001 and knew the McWilliams family. I love them dearly. The address I have for them is 535 N. Kent St. Visalia,Ca 93291. I hope they are still there. If you reach them, ask the older sisters how they each broke their legs on the trampoline. Good luck.

Don & Debbie McWilliams 04 Dec 2003
I served in the California, Fresno Mission in 1986-1987 and right before I went home, Christmas 1987 we baptized a family in Visalia, Don & Debbie McWilliams. I was just hoping that someone who served in the Visalia area recently might know them and how they are doing and possibly an address to get a hold of them. I'd appreciate any info.

October Ensign Article 26 Sep 2003
Dear Elders and Sisters,

Please open your October Ensign and look at the story on pages 18-21. You will find a very interesting story about one of our own missionaries, Sister Zatikyan (now Sister Wright)! If you look closely at her picture you can see her wearing her California Fresno Mission pin. How appropriate that it should be in the same issue in which President Hinckley makes the statement, "...we must never lose sight of the fact that the individual is the most important thing."

For those that can make it, we'll see you at the reunion.

Love,

President and Sister Friden

Mission Reunion 24 Aug 2003
Dear Elders and Sisters,
Sister Friden and I would love to hold a mission reunion with you on October 3rd at 7:30 p.m.. Unfortunately, our chapel across the street is not available that evening. We are asking for a group of five or six of you to organize this upcoming reunion.
Items to consider: 1) Location-It can be in the SLC to Provo corridor as this seems to be the most convenient for most people. 2.) Publicity-Announcements need to be made through this website, The Deseret News, The Daily Herald and the student newspapers at BYU, U Of U, USU, Weber State and Dixie College. 3.) Refreshments-have everyone assigned to bring something different. 4.) Set up and Clean up committee. 5.) Program-Something that all the missionaries would enjoy.
Please respond either via e-mail to wfriden@aol.com or call us at 801-224-6687 as to your assistance in organizing this reunion within 10 days, as the time is fast approaching.

Love to all,
President and Sister Friden

Unexpected Passing of Karl Norman 01 Aug 2003
Dear Elders and Sisters,

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Elder Karl Norman (June 1999-June 2001)passed away on July 30th. Elder Norman struggled with a seizure disorder. He fullfilled his full-time mission with this disorder and was a terrific person and missionary. He was found on the 30th and had suffered a seizure either late in the night or early morning hours and suffocated from the effects of the seizure.

His parents have requested those of you who knew and were associated with Karl to write or e-mail them with any anecdotes or stories about your time with Elder Norman. Pictures are especially welcome. The e-mail address for Brother and Sister Norman is: pnorman3@houston.rr.com. Their mailing address is: 1612 Laurel Oaks Dr, Richmond, TX 77469. Please share with them those stories, scriptures and personal thoughts that would make them proud of having such a fine son as Karl.

Karl's funeral will be Monday Aug. 4th at 11:00 a.m. in Richmond, TX.

Love to you all,

President and Sister Friden

Good Buddy 19 Jun 2003
I really need to locate my good friend Keith Dean. The last I saw of him was in 1988 while visiting me in NY. We both served under Pres. Linnell ('84-'85). He's originally from Nassau, Bahamas. I know it's been a very long time, but if anyone knows anything, please let me know.
