| Comments: Dear Missionaries, 2008 is here and I finally figured out how to get on this website again. Thought I'd let you know we had a great 2007, with the reunion in October as one of the highlights! So many new babies, brides and expecting families. We loved every minute. We were there until 1 in the morning!! The Armours came and that was a special surprise. So loved hugging all of you and seeing your beautiful faces! We have added three beautiful grandsons to our family this year--another highlight. Our boys graduated from law school and now have jobs!! We are rejoicing in our posterity. This year President and I have to face the big bad 6 0!! This can't possibly really happen to us. But, I have to tell you, life is full of such astonishments and unexpected views out every window that we are actually pretty excited about what's coming. One is never prepared to be old, but it is better so far, than we thought it would be. Of course, having 436 more kids has made things pretty unbelievable. We heard from many of you this Christmas. Thank you. We love getting any and all announcements, letters, e-mails, etc. President is still up to his eyeballs in good legal work. He now teaches Gospel Doctrine and I am the chorister in Primary!! I never have worked in primary before, but I love it. I have taken my name tags and our mission picture to show them when we learned, "Called To Serve". What a blessing it was to serve with you remarkable young people. We still thank Heavenly Father every day for that amazing opportunity. We have been back to Long Beach a couple times. Last time we were on Signal Hill we could see clear to Catalina and downtown LA. I'd never seen Catalina from up there the whole time we served. Well, please have a great 2008! We're planning to and will be praying for you and yours. Love to all, No Escarbes!! Sister C. | |
