To any newly called missionaries (and/or their moms and dads who are interested in finding out about the California Oakland Mission), we welcome you with open arms to one of the greatest missions in the church! You will find in the California Oakland mission plenty of work to do! You will find 83 well-organized, fully operating wards, 10 stakes and many members. You will find members who are serious about member/missionary work. You will find many different kinds of people who are as diverse in any way you can think of. We have 183 wonderful missionaries. The work is going well. This is an obedient mission and a hard working mission. We need your prayers. Every morning at 9:50 a.m. we kneel as a mission in supplication to the Lord for His divine help in our work. Please join us. Thank you!
