In August 2005, I had triple bypass surgery & found out I have Congestive Heart Failure. Actually doing quite well. My beautiful & energetic 6yr. old granddaughter, Ava, keeps me going. Cindy & Ava currently live in Vancouver, Washington. Cindy is married to Christopher Heer. They have a new baby girl, Anaiah, born on March 7, 2011 Jessica still lives and works in Vegas..
Cal still works as an engineer for the county & in the Sunday School presidency at church. He also tutors some young people of families we know to help them pass their proficiency exams to get their diplomas.
In the past few years, we have made a couple of trips up to part of the old mission field. We've gone to Minden/Gardnerville, Genoa, Carson City & Reno. Brought back many fond memories of days long ago when I was that young, unsure & awkward sister missionary.
In a few years, when Cal retires, we may move up to Vancouver, WA. too. We took a trip up there & love the scenery.
