I served from 1980-82 in the city of San Francisco as a spanish speaking elder (mission district). During this team we lived with the Olga Miller family from Costa Rica and the George and Laura Flores family from Guatemala. Laura Flores is the sister of Carlos Amadao. Does anybody know their whereabouts?

You could send in a request to Church HQ in SLC. Basically if you give them the info you have - names and when they served then the Church can contact them and let them know you're looking for them.

Request a copy of their "Membership Contact" form. They will mail it to you promptly. Fill out the form, which asks for information about the person's name, age, birthplace, and other facts that might be helpful in locating the one you are trying to reach. You will also need to make a brief statement about why you want to contact this person. Return both copies of this form to the address given at the top of the form. One of the copies of this form will be sent to the person you are trying to locate, who will then decide whether or not to contact you. If the person cannot be located, the office will notify you of that.

I am looking for Steve Orton and Finn McGee. They are the Elders that taught and baptized me about 21 years ago. I know Elder Orton has been on this site but I have had little luck tracking him down. As for Elder McGee, he seems to have fallen off the face of the earth. I can't find anything about him at all. Any help would be much appreciated.

I think your talking about the Duncans in SLV Santa Cruz Zone. I bought a ring off them when I served in SLV.
I plan to get another one as I lost mine years ago. But the Duncans have since shifted back to Ireland and yes they still do the rings. You can email them on duncanhouseskye@hotmail.com or visit their web pag on www dot duncan-house dot com/rings/
