Just wanted to let everyone that served in the San Francisco Chinese Branch between 1983 - 85 of the passing of Sister Mary Schaeffer. Her Husband, Bro. Kenneth Schaeffer passed away in 1989. Her obit can be found on this link

Who can forget their green Ford Grand Torino station wagon with its 400ci Cleveland engine.
She was the grandma that everyone loved. Who can forget Bro. Schaeffer's clip-on ties (he hated to tie them on) where he'd keep it in his back pocket just to rib the Mission President....or his constant toothpick. We'll miss them both and look forward to working with them again someday in the eternities. Aloha- KM
