In 1992, Max and I got married in the Washington D.C. Temple and moved from New York City, NY to Cary, North Carolina. We love it here!
We have two children--Maxwell Spencer and Arisha Fiorella. They are wonderful kids!
My mom caught the missionary bug and served her mission in the Dominican Republic in 2001. The kids loved to say they had a missionary grandma! She came home in 2002 and now (at the age of 71) serves as a temple worker in the Raleigh North Carolina Temple. She is always on the go and a great example to all of us. She has earned the nickname, "roadrunner" from her friends.
I graduated as a Community Health Educator in 1992 and work as a healthcare consultant for the Office of Rural Health within the NC Department of Health and Human Services. In 2004, our area was blessed with its first Spanish Branch. I now serve as 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society and as Welfare Specialist.
On the side-- when I can squeeze it in between being a mom, homemaker, and everything else--I run my own business, Latin Life, providing Spanish Language instruction and Cultural Diversity Training.
I enjoy seeing all those familiar names on the list! I feel as Alma and the sons of Mosiah...happy to know we are still brothers and sisters in the faith.
Besos y abrazos a todos!
Hugs and Kisses to all! ;) |
