I am looking for a place to attend church in Novemeber when we are visiting siem reap. Is there a branch nearby? How could we locate it?
Does the mission home give out that kind of info?
How do I get in contact with them?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone would know where to go in Cambodia for a passport/visa to travel to the US? Please email me if you do.
Much thanks. |

I visited Vietnam last year and was impressed with the people. I understand that HCMC Vietnam- is part of the Cambodia mission. I am considering a mature age mission, (slef and wife) maybe in Vietnam - and would like to find out a bit more about the progress of the church there.
I am Australian, a keen Gospel Doctrine, Insitute teacher. Can anybody give me assistance? Is the church registered in Vietnam yet? |

We are sad to report that Richard and Ardith Eakins died in a tragic traffic accident this past week and their funerals were held yesterday the 24th of May, 2007. Richard was 75 and Ardith was 70 years old. They served two missions in Cambodia and Myanmar from 2000-2004. They made significant contributions to the growth of the church in the two countries. They are sorely missed by their family (7 children and 25 grandkids) and those whose lives were
impacted during the three years spent in the Cambodia, Phnom Penh Mission. We know they are still busy in doing good, but we miss them!

Suasdei Bong B'oon,
As many of you know, they are deciding on 7 new wonders of the world, and they want the people of the world to participate. Angkor Wat is up as one of the choices. So please go to www.new7wonders.com and vote. There will be a link to "register and vote" but don't be alarmed, they want no information about you except your email address, so as to avoid double voters.
Please forward to others to support Cambodia. The winners get much needed attention and preservation.
Best,
Kirsten Downing Trefflich |

Missionaries-
Here is the info. for the mission reunion. It is going to be awesome this year. We have hired a few Cambodian sisters from the local branch to cater the food. So for those of you that have been home for three or more years like me, come satisfy your cravings for authentic Khmer food! It will be combined with all missionaries that have served in Cambodia. President and sister Colton are in Cambodia right now with the Le Fevres. They will be holding a mission reunion over there with all of our old companions and friends. There will be pictures and an update given by President Colton. Please forward this to anyone you might have an address for. We also need volunteers for dessert, cups, and plates.
Date: Friday March 30th
Time: 6:30 pm
Place: Westminster Institute
Cost:$5 per person
RSVP: Tyler Stark at puakmak426@yahoo.com or Jeff Madsen at jeffrey.b.madsen@gmail.com. |
