I am a convert to the Church and was baptized in 1973 while a senior in High School. I served with span-am Elders in our area and got the mission bug and was called and left for Canada in 1974. I served in the greatest areas with super companions. Became District and Zone Leader and loved my mission. Upon returning home, I got married a year later to my wife Barbara and we have 4 children and now two grandchildren. One son has already served a mission and another will leave next year. I am a special eduaction teacher and work with the blind and visiually imparied and my wife works with the deaf as an interpreter. We live in the Sierra foothills here in California, where I am currently serving as a Stake High Councilor. The Church is true and the most important thing I learned from my mission was the importance of obedience. |
