News Item: New CTM Alumni site

Displaying 1 - 1 of 1 -- Add News

New CTM Alumni site 24 Sep 2006
The former Canada Toronto Mission (1974-1993 era) now has a new dedicated
alumni site!

The new site contains many new features! A seperate directory for Alumni
and Presidents, as well as Reunions, news, pictures, messages and much
more.

As the need for security over the internet increases, your new alumni site
implements many new features that protect registered users from SPAM and
the harvesting of your personal information. (EMail addresses are always
hidden) Within your personal profile, you also now have personal security
and site notification options which enable you to customize who has access
to your information, and what site notifications you wish to receive.

The new site is located at:

http://www.mission.net/canada/toronto/index.php

http://canada.toronto.mission.net or,

http://ctma.mission.net

Follow these instructions carefully to retrieve login info:

To access your personal profile, first go to the "Alumni" section of the site and search for yourself.

To edit your profile, click on the "Edit" link located at the top or bottom left of your screen.

To have the system automatically send you your username and a new temporary password, click once on the "Request Password" link and then click YES once. Make sure to click only ONCE on the links. A new temporary password will be generated
by the system and emailed to you within a few minutes. Remember that temporary passwords are upper and lower case sensitive, so be careful when you type it in.

After you receive the email with your new login information, login to the site and update your profile with your current information. Be sure to fill in all the missing information, such as companions served with and areas served in. Also please take the time to correct the personal information listed in your profile and make any other necessary updates. You'll
probably want to change the bizarre password the system generates to something you can more easily remember. Passwords must contain at least six characters, one of which must be a number.

Your help in supplying missing mission president information would be
greatly appreciated. Also, please invite any other returned missionaries
you have contact with who served in the mission to visit the new site and
register. So please have a look around the new website, and contact me
with any questions, suggestions or concerns you may have.

Warmest Regards,

David van der Leek
