Comments:
In 1980 I purchased the home next to where my parents live and have lived in the same place for almost my entire life. My parents moved to Vancouver Washington in 2005. I moved the year later 3 miles away into my dream home next to the woods. My 2 daughters both married and the youngest has 5 children. I've been in contact with a few of you - but I've lost contact with just about everyone I knew. My parents have both passed on so I guess that makes me an orphan. P>))

I have served in many, many callings but mostly enjoyed being young men's president because the boys in my Scout troop have been the best I have ever had. Many, many expeditions. I am currently in my bishopric and have been in one for almost 10 years. Once in a previous ward and now since 2009 in my ward now.
Still can speak fluently and love reading the scriptures in Spanish.
Would love to do some translation.

If you want to see what's been going on in my life- and some recent adventures: see http://www.mlhuniverse.blogspot.com Since Google's blogs are so clunky to update I haven't kept it up.
I retired from Boeing as Flight Controls lab manager (2012).
I now enjoy my life as a piano technician/tuner.

I am richly blessed with 5 beautiful grand children, a loving wife. We moved from the garden of Eden if you look through my blog back in 2009. Now live in Federal Way, south of Seattle.

I would enjoy renewing acquaintances, especially with Elder Nelson (Coquimbo, near La Serena) and find out how things went for him once he was through being a greenie with me there.

UPDATE Feb 3, 2021
Just finishing close to 200 miles of walking after my open heart surgery back in October 2014. For details see: https://keysintune.com/MarkHeart/
I've actually just completed 15,000 miles on that recumbent bicycle you see me on. WOOHOO! I have legs like PopEye.
