Hola...I would like to update my information and to find out about former missionaries in the Colombia Mission under President Calvert. I also would like to know what has happened to Hna Portal from Venezuela who patiently worked with me with my limited Spanish.
Also, I would LOVE to hear about the growth of the church there and if indeed there have been "musical missionaries" sent to Colombia to serve...I heard a rumor while teaching in Chile a few years ago that "way back when"...( my era ) "there had been success reaching people through music" and so they were going to try it again. ( I directed our mission choir for a Christmas Eve service that was broadcasted live in Bogota. We also sang on TV for Easter in Cali. It has been so many years ago and I am so thrilled to hear that what was once "grass roots" missionary work has now got a temple and several missions!
