| Comments: I am so blessed by my mission, I went to the temple to get married in Seattle in 1996 and the person at the desk taking my wedding liscence to check us in remembered me from the mission - she said "did you serve in the Dominican Republic? I remember you!" I did not remember her, but she noticed me - and this was 8 years after my mission ended - and very very far away from the Caribbean in Seattle! That same day in the temple, my new husband saw someone he served with in his mission (in Seattle). This proved to be a clear sign to us that we were blessed by having served our missions - and our temple marriage was a direct result from our faithful missionary service. | |
