I just read your notice about Mel and I. I want you to know how much we appreciate and love you while we were in the DR. The next time you come to Arizona to visit your sister and family please call me and I will meet you in Mesa. I am doing well and spending alot of time visiting my children and grandchildren. : Pres. Robinson and Sister Ela Mae Robinson were called to serve as DR MTC Presidents after serving for over 18 months as Public Affairs Directors for the Church in the Dom. Rep. I had the opportunity to work close to them for they attended the Piantini Branch in Santo Domingo at which I am 1st. Counselor in the Branch Presidency, and in many ocassions did some translating job for them. Pres. Robinson spoke fluent Spanish and had priorly served missions i n other Spanish-speaking countries including Venezuela. He was a hard-working man and had a bright testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
: : For those of you who have not hear, the Santo Domingo MTC president died of a heart attak in February. The news is on the The church news for the month of Feb or March. That's really sad since he just started working in one of his many missions.
