Just got back from vacation in Punta Cana, DR. Stayed at the all inclusive resort Occidental. If you are looking for a place to go, don't got there!! Mexico, i.e. Cancun, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, has much more friendlier staff and food. The staff in DR was so rude and spoke VERY little English, if any at all. Was not happy with the staff at all. Great beaches and weather, but Mexico blew it away as far as staff and customer service. Dominican Republic/Occidental needs major training in customer service.
