: You know, it does bother me a little yes. I feel very bad about what happened in the mission. In a way I feel personally betrayed because I was comps with a couple of the guys in this group and I didn't find out until later what they had been involved in. In some aspects I feel like they took away from my mission. If you are praying for me to be more forgiving that's great, maybe you should tell me who you are and I can focus on forgiving you first. You're right, it's hard for me to let go of this because I feel responsible for the Lord's work and the legacy we as missionaries have left in that part of the world. I wish I could be so understanding about the whole situation as you. I really do.
In the spirit of forgiveness let's all hold hands and sing some Michael McClean. Come on "We can be together forever..." Seriously, if you didn't serve a good mission it's nobody's fault but your own! Ward, Folkman, Brondum, you guys were great. I remember doing splits with every one of you. Brondum, I didn't split with you but Cosper and Wolf tell me that you were a stud! I'm sorry that I didn't get to know you very well. Folkman, you rocked! I remember when we did splits with you and Seay and you told that guy who was giving Joseph Smith a bad rap to go to @#$%$@%! Well, essentially you did. Ward, you were totally excited about the work. I seriously remember wishing that I was that pumped! My point is, is that if you didn't do all that you could have done in two years tough! It's over! The best reward of serving a good mission is not having a guilty conscious. Don't blame others, Mayimbe or not for your own disobedience. This is not directed at any one person but just because you write down Spanish expressions, like you can't remember it in English, doesn't make you look or sound like you know Spanish--It makes you sound like you can't let go. I hear that the MTC is hiring fluent Mayimbes!
