I married Lismery Pardone from Moca on March 22, 2008 in the Santo Domingo Temple. I will be living here after the summer until she is able to get her spousal visa. If anyone has done this, please let me know what is the best way to go about taking care of this is so we don't waste time. Also, for some reason I am not able to upload our picture of the wedding.

YO! I was trying to think of a way to find my old mission buds and give an update and this is were my mind lead me, I hope it works. So, for that update, I'm doing good despite the brain tumor found by an ER doc (May 1, 2007) just before it killed me. But really I'm doing good and making a recovery day by day. Enough about about that, I'm truing to someone who has that book of talks given by different mission presidents. You may not know what it is or what I'm talking about but if you do and you have a copy let me!

Thank you everyone who replied to my questions. These things are just small things I had wondered about since receiving my call. It is nice to know just some little details before I go out. I am very excited to serve The Lord and I thank all of you for your help and answers to my questions.

You will lose weight if you are now a bit chubby. You will likely have a maid.
Unless something has changed, your maid will be an endowed and married member of the church. Her pay will likely be regulated by the mission, though it will come out of your allowance.
Please remember the following during your mission. Your maid is not there to serve you, but rather the Lord. Treat her with respect and always be on your best behavior.

I don`think you should be worry about your weight during your mission, I`m sure the Lord love you just the way you are. You are no going to be in a Miss Universe, are you? And about the maid, if you have the money to effor the maid, of course you can have one. Don`t go to your mission for the wrong reason, what you became there it depents In what you bring with you ( Spiritualy) Have a good mission, and enjoy the privilege of been a misionery.
