President Terry and President Smock had the priviledge of attending the setting apart of President Sofacles Moran as President of the Chile Santiago East Mission. This took place last Sunday (7/25/06) in Provo at the MTC. Many of you will remember President Moran as he served in the Guayaquil Ecuador Mission Presidency with Presidents Maldanado, Terry and Smock and most recently with President Ridd. He is a survivor and we are proud of him. Good luck President and Sister Moran!

Tuvimos una reunion anoche en la casa de los padres del Elder Wayne Hill. Los presente fueron La Hermana y Presidente Johnson, Elder Wayne Hill, Christopher Britton, Elder Smith (correo!), Jeff Bowers, Tyler Barker, Elder Rose, y unos mas quienes nombres no recuerdo.
Wayne cocino hamburgesas y salchichas y los ninos nadaron en la picina (bien grande). No he visto al Presidente Johnson en 11 anos, y me parece lo mismo - no ha cambiado mucho. Lo llamaron al Presidente Johnson al Primer Quorum de los Setenta y va a servir en Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) en Agosto. Puede servir alla entre 3 a 5 anos.
Visitamos mucho y nos regocijamos tener el evangelio que nos brindo juntos.

Saludos a todos de la mision! fui a Ecuador en Junio de ese ano, y fue lindisimo. Agradezco mucho a los misioneros que estan alli ahorita, ayudando a algunos amigos del alma regresar al evangelio. Fue un viaje superchevere....Tuve la oportunidad regresar a todos los partes, con mi novio. Y ahora estamos comprometidos. Para que sepan...ya nos vamos a casar en enero, por hay. entonces, por los que me conocen, Pres. Terry, y misioneros, si pueden mandarme sus direcciones, me encantaria invitarles, sera en Manti, el casamiento...la fecha segura ya van a ver! Y les digo que planeo regresar a Ecuador pero, muchisimo, es mi segundo hogar!

For all you St. George Marathon runners, we will hold our annual get-together after General Priesthood meeting on Oct. 1st at the Terry's home. Let us know if you are running so we can cheer you on. Also let us know how many you will be bringing to the get-together. PS You don't have to be running to come!

Hola queridos amigos, es un agrado saludarles, deseo comunicarles que nuestra querida amiga Hna Guzman Diana de Ecuador, tuvo si bebita, pero lamentablemente la nena fallecio unos dias despues, por esto queremos que todos puedan enviar sus mensajes de condolencias para ella, su fortaleza es grande sin embargo siempre es bueno un saludo de sus compañeros.
