Other Comments

I have been back to England to visit a friend of mine named Derek Adams. He lives in Finedon, and maintains a community centre in Huntingdon (which is now part of one of the London missions). Although not a member of the church, Derek had a very positive impact on my life, and always wanted me to come back and visit. I mounted an exhibition of art in his community centre while I was there in May of 2002. Who knows when I'll be back again, but I dream of it every day. Sept. 2007, Last summer, following a month in Italy, I stopped over in England. I drove from Liverpool down through the mission on my way to London. It was nice to stay in Stoke on Trent overnight (bought some ceramic mugs for 25 p each), and in Huntingdon for a couple nights at the George hotel on High Street. I attended church there and they remembered me not for the amazing, spectacular, record breaking successes, but for my invovlement in a tiny incident involving some renegade cows that got loose on the church farm. I also spent an afternoon strolling about Birmingham City Centre. It's amazing how it has developed in the near decade since I had been there last. I almost didn't recognize certain parts. It's strange how feelings of nostalgia trick you into expecting things to remain unchanged. I would love to hear from anyone.
