If you work, and finish strong, then there is nothing better you could do. I hope I did decent, and feel I finished strong. I hope the Lord will continue to soften the hearts of the people over there. I have no desire to cross the ocean again, despite the many friends I have made over there (some of whom I still keep in contact). I was grateful for the opportunity to work with the English over here on my side of the ocean (the term "my side" used loosely). As there is an English journalist over here walking from Texas to NYC, following the path his ancestor took when traveling during our civil war/ war between the states. This path led him down my road last Sunday (Jan. 21, 2002), and it was really cool to share with him about the Book of Mormon and to give him one. It reminded me of the joy, or the good part about being a missionary. Despite the trials, I look back on my mission as a well spent two years of my life. Thanks Pres. M. R. Hinckley, for the love and kindness you showed me.
