Kim and I work for BYU at Aspen Grove. Aspen Grove is located on the back side of Timpanogos Mountain two miles past Sundance in the Provo area. We live on sight at Aspen Grove. We love it here. It has always been a dream to come back here where Kim and I met and worked. We just never thought it would happen this fast, but we are very happy to be living a dream.
Kim and I recently had a baby girl on January 25th 2005. We named her Aspen. She is a joy to us. Since she was born, we have been constantly upgrading, or baby proofing our home.
My responsiblities here at Aspen Grove are for the custodians, the maintenance, the pool, and the ropes course in the summer. In the winter, I run the Conferencing and making sure our facility is ready. I also am in charge of snow removal. I really enjoy this part of my job. I tell Kim that it is the only thing I can push around and not get in trouble for. In my spare time I volunteer for the North Fork Fire Department and ride the ambulance or the fire truck to what ever the call may be. I am now certified as an EMT Basic, and hope to train to be an Intermediate soon. Just recently I was appointed to a county office on the Sundance area Special Service District Board. So far I have just kept my mouth shut and tried to figure out what is going on. I will figure it out soon enough. It is fun to help and serve.
