I want to first express the deepest sadness over the passing of a great man in President Whitmore. I loved him as our mission president, and I hope Sister Whitmore knows how much we love her, especially at this time. Now I have to announce that in two weeks I will be leaving for eighteen months to serve in Iraq. It is going to be very hard for me to leave my wonderful wife and three beautiful children. I wish everyone the best and I hope that I will return home in safety. We just purchased our first home in January in North Logan, UT, and my third child, Emma, was born last September. Since getting off active military duty last year, I have been attending Utah State University. I want everyone with whom I served with and around (whether I knew you or not) that I think of you often. I wish everyone the best and may God Bless all of you.
