I have been living and working in Alaska since 1989. In 1995 I started working in Western Alaska's remote Eskimo villages on the Yukon and Kuskokwim Rivers. I have never married. Presently I am the Relief Society President for the Alaska Bush Branch, I am over about 50 sisters who live in remote villages where there is no organized branch. We meet every week via the telephone. In February of 2006, I was named Alaska's School Librarian of the Year by a committee of my peers. |
