Spent six months last year and a month this year in Guatemala, Central America working as a volunteer and travelling a little. Fantastic, beautiful country which felt as much like home as England, inspite of it being so unsafe and troubled. Am now back at my parents whilst looking for a job, preferably returning to community development/neighbourhood renewal work, which is what I was doing before Guatemala. Have just been called onto Young Womens which has to be my favourite auxilliary to work in. |
