I'm not even sure if anybody remembers me, it is already so long ago. I came on my mission 17 May 1989 from Germany/Denmark and left July 1991. Even though nobody might remember me, wooo, I had a great mission, I loved it, there was everything anybody could wish or ask for. I got a much stronger testimony, made a lot of friends, learned so much about myself and how to improve and develop oneself, in going beyond what seams reachable....Thank your President Dehaan. Thank you for pushing and your way of demanding more. Ha ha, I really walked around with this rubber band around my wrist, nearly all of my mission, wanting to go the extra mile, wanting to serve, wanting to push myself, give a bit more. Wauuu, it worked, this little rubber band did not only help me serve better, sacrifice and put my wants and needs behind me. It helped me “catch the vision” like Douglas always used to say. It really helped me fly… I’m deeply touched by some of the people that had a big impact on me. My trainer Parker, Haas and not to forget Lyons or Christensen…..I wanted to be as good as a missionary like they where. I wanted to go of that plane when I was finished and have given it “my everything”.

Does anybody remember Elder Larson….ohhhhh, he really had a clean heart…hope he staid as “pure in heart” as he was….he had an impact, even on a Danish Viking like me.

Think back and think of how you pushed yourself, having a inner desire to work, while push yourself, getting out of the comfort zone, catching the vision and fly! All of this has changed my life so much that I today work with personal growth and development (coaching). Teaching the mentioned principles; about hard work, growth, developing a vision and personal development to some of the largest companies around the world. Strange how some things turn out to be!

I don’t want to write too much (hehe….have already done it…..to bad, hope you didn’t get bored), is anybody interested to have contact, then please write.

Regards Mark
